This is Jenna. She's 7 years old, is in the first grade, and loves princesses -- really loves princesses. On a recent trip to Disney World Jenna met every single princess and prince there. She even got to be Sleeping Beauty in her school play -- a definite highlight of the year. Jenna is also courageous and incredible and is adored by her wonderfully loving family. Jenna has SMA.

This is Team Jenna: Renee Gronowski, Deborah Tracy, Catherine Clark, and Paul Boguhn. Last year Jenna's Aunt Renee ran the Buffalo Half Marathon in her honor. It was a fun and positive experience for the whole family and Jenna was so proud to cheer for her awesome aunt.

The run was such a positive experience that Renee decided to do it again and this year she recruited a team, including Jenna's devoted dad, Paul. Over the last few months Renee, Paul, Deborah, and Catherine have been hard at work training, meeting up for team runs on the weekends, and encouraging each other along the way. They have also been actively fundraising to help SMA. They even hosted a pub crawl fundraiser for Renee's 40th birthday where they all wore theGSF NEVER GIVE UP. shirts. In fact, Team Jenna has raised an amazing $3,000!!!
From Renee:
Jenna is lucky to have such a wonderful family. And we are honored that Team Jenna is running to raise SMA awareness and funding to help theGSF in our mission to change SMA. We are continually moved and inspired by people with the "NEVER GIVE UP." spirit -- like Team Jenna and the entire Boguhn family.
We will be cheering you on this Sunday as you run in the Buffalo Half Marathon. Gooooo Team Jenna!!! You guys rock! Thank you for running so one day they can too!
