Chase Final Round: GSF Officially Entered

January 04, 2010 by Victoria Strong
We have been working really hard getting everything ready for the final round of the Chase Community Giving campaign on Facebook and we are extremely excited to have just submitted everything to Chase for their review. Whew! It feels great to officially start the wheels of this exciting campaign in motion. $1 Million for SMA awareness and research is on the table!

We have been pulling all nighters, reviewing every single detail, and making sure every "i" is dotted and every "t" is crossed. This is an incredible opportunity for SMA and has the potential to truly change this disease forever. We often feel SMA is right on the tipping point of change: research is on the cusp, awareness is increasing, and with the right funding, the right platform, this disease could be wiped out forever. We are so very close. We feel pleased with what we are presenting and hopeful that its messaging makes the SMA community proud and is strong enough to reach well beyond those impacted by this devastating disease. We hope this campaign will motivate people from all walks of life to get involved and be part of a miracle. We know with your help we have a real chance at winning. And we can't wait to share everything with you very soon.

As a little celebration, we took Gwendolyn to see the sunset over the ocean yesterday evening. Bill and I shared a bottle of well deserved wine, enjoyed some yummy seafood, watched the seagulls, and looked for dolphins as our good luck charm. And Gwendolyn, our little light, basked in the sunset glow, while we basked in hers.

Chase, we are coming to get our prize! Get ready to be part of a miracle!
