My frustration and indignation with the health insurance industry is no secret. As most of you know, I've learned through my firsthand experience with Gwendolyn how to effectively navigate the muddy health insurance waters - at least with Health Net in California. I've also learned that there is almost no actionable information available to help people who find themselves in the unfortunate and dizzying circumstance of fighting-the-good-fight with their health insurance company.

So, rather than let our efforts and experiences go to waste, I've started a blog - InsuranceRxBlog.com - to share my stories and two cents in hopes of providing others information to make battling their health insurance company a little easier, a little more palatable.

But, I can't do it by myself. I'm only one person from one State using one insurance company. To really provide helpful information to others I need health insurance battle success stories from others. So, help me help others by sending me your health insurance story to bill@InsuranceRxBlog.com. If nothing else, take it from me that it's a great way to blow off some steam about your health insurance frustrations

Use the following as a rough template of what to include. And, please make sure to let me know if you wish to remain anonymous in your story (which I completely understand and support):

Insurance company name
Insurance type (e.g. PPO, HMO)
State
Issue
Denial explanation from insurance company
Your explanation of why they are wrong
How you fought it (e.g. Dept. of Insurance, writing, suing...)
Final resolution
