Gwendolyn Rocking Out!

Gwendolyn is really getting the hang of presents! After being a bit fussy with Mom and Dad (teething!), we asked if she would like to open a present from Great Uncle John and Great Aunty Clare. Her grumpy fussy sound immediately stopped as she eyed the pretty package and a smile (that was nowhere to be found minutes before) suddenly appeared.

And what a fantastic present it is! My super Aunt Clare and Uncle John in Wales sent the most awesome gift to Gwendolyn: Finger Drums -- The Original Desktop Drumkit. This small drumkit is an absolutely ideal toy for children with SMA. It makes different drum sounds with the slightest finger touch -- perfect for Gwendolyn's very light movements. She LOVES the cause and effect and fully knows she is making the sound. She rocked out for almost an hour -- although Daddy was busting for a turn, too!

Thank you so much super Aunty and Uncly. We miss you!!!
