Easter 2012
April 10, 2012 by VictoriaCan you believe how grown up our little bunny is now?

This Easter we headed south to Gramma's house in LA for the day. GrandPa, Aunt Kristen and Uncle Richard were there too. We haven't all been together in some time so we were already excited about that. And we haven't been to Gramma's house in ages and so we got to see the new big girl room she created for Gwendolyn. Miss G was very impressed! Horses and butterflies = happy Gwendolyn!
As soon as we arrived Gwendolyn spotted all the eggs, so we jumped into the hunt right away. The Easter Bunny cleverly hid bright plastic eggs all around the house -- with lots of butterfly stickers and other prizes inside. Gwendolyn would shout out, "Guh" when she discovered a new one and our little Eagle Eyes was quick to find them all with a special basket at the end as the big surprise.

Gramma set a beautiful table and while she was preparing the extra touches, GrandPa told Gwendolyn stories and read her a new book. Gwendolyn could read books for days, but there's something extra special about listening to GrandPa and she hangs on his every word.
After dinner we all sat outside and feasted on the amazing cheesecake Aunt Kristen made -- dee-lish! Gwendolyn and Gramma explored the back garden, had races with her dog, gave him lots of pats and hugs, looked at all the flowers, and even found a fuzzy caterpillar. We all enjoyed a fabulous day together talking the day away until our little bunny was officially bunnied out.
Hope you had a very happy Easter weekend too!
