Birthday Week With Aunt Elizabeth and Super Cousins

One of my favorite parts of Birthday Week was being with my sister, Elizabeth, and nephews, William (5 1/2) and Henry (2 1/2). They are my favorite people in the world and Gwendolyn absolutely adored having them here for 6 days! We all played together, sang together, laughed together, danced together, watched movies together -- simply being together for several days was heaven! We had so much fun and did so many neat things, but here are the highlights:

Both William and Henry are unbelievably gentle with Gwendolyn. They completely accept her, adore her, and naturally modify games so she can be included. Some of my favorite quotes from the week are:

William: (Said while giving Gwendolyn a gentle arm massage) Oh, isn't she the most precious thing you've ever seen!

William: (On the day of Gwendolyn's party) Gwendolyn, you make the most beautiful princess ever! You can be a princess in my castle!

Henry: (Said over and over again and I loved it every time) Hewwo Baby (kiss on Gwen's head)

William: (While having breakfast on their first day here) So Uncle Bill, is there anything in particular you'd like to discuss with me? (Yes, a 5 year old actually said that with all seriousness!)

We love and m iss you guys like crazy!!! Thank you for making Gwendolyn's birthday so special!!!
